It was a
very cold day. The snow started to fall, wind blew the trees like
there were only little twigs from off the ground, puddles are seen in every
distance on the ground, and me?
Well, I’ve
seen many people with these pets so called “neopets.” So anyway I
was walking while being blown by the wind and saw a neopet looking like
some sort of red bee flying by. I ran fast as I could and was 3 inches
close, so I jumped up and grabbed it. I made a hard landing on the ground
and asked the neopet if it was ok.
The neopet
smiled as tears came from its eyes and said “Bzzokzz!”
I asked,
“What’s your name? What kind of pet are you?”
The neopet
answered with a buzz. “My name is Buzzy anz I’m az buzzy!”
“Um, are
you alone?”
Then some
weird person with red spiky hair, red over shirt, and black jeans ran and
toughly picked up Buzzy and said to me, “Hey, thanks for finding it!”
The person then ran away as Buzzy gave a huge cry out “Buzz” and a “help
me!”
I didn’t
know what to do. After seeing the teardrops from its eyes, I tried
to follow it as closely as I could. Then the wind blew them away
and more snow came down, causing me to become lost. I decided to
go home for dinner.
I ate my
dinner all right, but my heart was feeling sad. My parents kept asking
what’s wrong, but I just ignored them all and went up to my room for the
remainder of the night.
The next
day, I walked out side right after getting dressed and this time it was
partly cloudy, and 76 degrees. I had no idea why on earth it was
warm and sunny because I didn’t think it would happen so fast the day after
a snowstorm.
I soon
saw a huge glow in the air circle around me. It turned out to be
one of the faeries, a real faerie! I opened my eyes as far as they
can reach and simply said, “A faerie!?”
The faerie
giggled and said, “Yup, an Earth Faerie just to show you I can make weather!”
In a blink of an eye the Earth Faerie snapped her fingers and disappeared.
I kept
walking to look for Buzzy, since I couldn’t ignore him from yesterday.
Tear drops fell from my eyes as I started to run, just hoping I could find
that little buzzy. Then my tears glowed and I stopped in my tracks.
After noticing some puddles from the quick melting of the snow, I soon
saw another faerie! It looked blue-colored, so I simply asked, “Are you
a Water Faerie?”
It responded,
“Yes, I am. I have come to tell you something very important.”
“What?”
“May the
water lead you and you lead the water.”
I was really
confused at what she said. “Um, what do you mean? I don’t understand.”
“You must
find the answer. Trust me, you will find it, but you must do that
on your own.” In a puff of smoke the Water Faerie disappeared.
I didn’t
think I would get anywhere with all these weird riddles I kept hearing.
The weather, then the water? What did it all mean?
Just then,
I noticed an owner with four neopets of her own. None of them looked
like the buzzy from the day before, but maybe one, some, or all of them
had seen him.
I walked
up to the group and calmly said, “Excuse me, but I need some help.”
A beautiful sky-blue kougra with the name magicoddball26 came up to me
and said, “We’ll be more than glad to assist, young lady. What seems
to be the trouble?”
“I saw
this red buzzy yesterday in the snowstorm. However, his supposed
owner came along and grabbed him. I know I heard him screaming for
help, like he didn’t like his owner or something.”
The owner
of the four pets then stepped forward. “I’m not surprised by that.
There are some rather heartless owners out there. Do you remember
what the owner of that buzzy looked like?”
“Yeah,
he had some red spiky hair and wore a red over shirt and black jeans.
He just came by and grabbed Buzzy out of my hands. I’ve been worried
ever since.”
A sweet-spirited
purple chia named MissLIttleShortness put her paw to her face. “Wait
a minute…I’ve seen that owner before.”
GotMilk247,
a yellow Kau, nodded. “I’ve seen that guy as well. He’s a seriously
bad owner. If a pet doesn’t do what he’s told, that guy will severely
punish him by making him starve, beating him up, and the like.”
The owner
of the four pets soon became concerned herself. “I don’t like this,
not one bit. I don’t know how that owner always sticks around.
Someone like him doesn’t deserve to be in Neopia. Maybe we can get
some help from one of the faeries.”
“No good,”
I said. “I’ve seen the Earth and Water Faeries already. All
they’re giving me are riddles.”
The electric-blue eyrie known as MagicForceFlare spoke, “That’s how the
faeries work most of the time. They’ll give you the riddles, and
then you have to figure them out yourself. We should know, since
the Light Faerie did something to all five of us not too long ago.”
“Really?
What did she do?”
“She cast
a strange spell on us, and we didn’t understand what she meant when she
said to ‘look somewhere else.’ Turns out she gave us the abilities
to feel each other and to contact each other mind-to-mind.”
“Why did
she do that?”
“Because,”
MissLIttle started to answer, “the Faerie Queen herself knew how much we
really cared for each other. The four of us and our owner are always
there for each other, no matter what happens. It’s obvious you care
a lot about that buzzy, and you want to make sure it’s all right.”
I realized
what I could try to do: Track everything I had seen from the day
before, and see if I can trace the steps backwards before Buzzy was blown
to me.
When I
explained my plan to them, the owner nodded in agreement. “Sounds
like a plan to me. In fact, why don’t we pitch in and help?
Show us where you found Buzzy yesterday, and we’ll try to get to the starting
point.”
“Right,”
the four pets said together.
I led the
group to where I had found Buzzy during the wind and snowstorm. “It
was about here where he blew towards me. He came from the west.”
“Good,”
said the owner. “Let’s start working around the area and see if we
can find some clues.”
Suddenly,
a voice was heard and a track of spider web was seen on puddles of water
on the ground. I wondered, “What is this web doing all over the place?
It’s in the water, too. Hmm…wait! What if Buzzy is in trouble?”
I then screamed, “Buzzy!!!” I started to cry as the tear
drops fell from my face onto some of the puddles.
Then, they
glowed very brightly as the tear drops that didn’t go onto the rain drops
went together. “Wait a second,” I said.
MissLIttle questioned, “What is it?”
“The rain
drops look like rain drops, but maybe these drops are really tears from
Buzzy!! We have to follow them, just to be sure.”
Magicoddball
nodded in agreement.
“But how
do we do that?” the Chia asked in confusion. “It looks like you have
to cry all the way.”
“Hmmm.
Perhaps I can just make enough tear drops to make all them connect.”
GotMilk
noted, “But they’re about 10 feet apart! You can’t shed tears for
that long a distance.”
I thought
about the Earth Faerie now that I kinda knew about the Water Faerie’s little
riddle. I also remembered about yesterday how the weather was
like…Windy, cold, and chilly. This day was partly cloudy. I
started worrying so much I just started running. The trainer and
her team of neopets had to run after me saying “Wait up!!”
Suddenly
I heard a buzzing sound and I looked all around me still walking fast and
I said, “Buzzy?!!”
After hearing
nothing for about 20 seconds, I turned left and quickly saw the trainer
and Buzzy, who was apparently in a battle.
The trainer
yelled out, “Come on, Buzzy, Use your Wet snowball!”
Buzzy took
aim at a yellow kacheek and threw it at it very softly.
The kacheek
just glowed very bright and a grand lightning beam shoot out!
“Buzzy!”
I screamed in concern.
Buzzy heard
me and flew to me before the electricity got him. He came soaring for me
so fast it knocked me over!
“Buzzy,
are you all right?”
The trainer
became very angry. “Not you again! Give me back my Buzzy or
I’ll tell him to attack you weaklings!"
Suddenly, GotMilk247 came at my side and shouted, “You’re not going to
take Buzzy back as long as you treat him with such disrespect and abuse!”
His compassionate anger allowed him to glow in a rainbow.
“Listen
here, Buzzy’s mine!” When he noticed the kau, he then became scared.
“Wha—what’s that glow? Please don’t attack me, no!”
GotMilk,
thought the owner, stop. Don’t hurt him. It won’t help the
situation.
The kau
decided it was in the best interest to stop the attack to solve the problem.
I understand. Thanks.
Soon, GotMilk’s
owner and his other neopet brothers and sisters came up to the commotion
area.
Buzzy said,
“I like her a lot better than you!”
That comment
left the trainer at a complete loss for words.
The trainer
with the yellow kacheek said, “I think Buzzy should stay with Blaze!”
I said,
“What!? Why?”
MissLIttle
said, “There’s something very fishy going on here, but…”
Magicoddball
then noticed something suddenly appear. “Look! A Fish pop truck!”
The fish
pop truck stopped in front of the place. People from all over rushing
to it as we ignored it.
Then I
asked, “Excuse me, but are you his friend, and is his name ‘Blaze’?”
“I’m his
friend,” he answered, “and yes, he’s Blaze and I’m Gondom. We have been
battling almost every day at THIS place every day.”
Buzzy yelled,
“I don’t like them!!”
Then, Gondom’s
kacheek looked sad at me. It made a tear drop and came running at
me crying! “Please, you must help us!”
Blaze said,
“Why do the pets like them more than us?”
MagicForceFlare
yelled out, “You’re supposed to care and love your neopets! You don’t
send them blindly into battle without a reason!”
Gondom
suddenly disappeared and a voice was heard. Find the Light Faerie.
I didn’t
know what happened, and I just stood there staring at air thinking it was
a dream.
Strangely,
Blaze's hair turned blue as he said, “Help us!”
As he walked
away, I yelled, “Wait! Where are you going!?”
Blaze said
nothing and threw a map at us. As he walked off as his hair changed
back.
The map
showed many oceans and lots of dangerous places, including a weird X on
the sun.
I said
to everyone, “Why is there an ‘X’ on the sun?”
The trainer
said, “I think that’s where the light and fire faeries are.”
I soon
turned to the kacheek and asked, “Did something bad happen to your trainer?”
“Yes, something awful. And it was no one’s fault. What happened was
a dark faerie was thrown close near them both and it blessed our friends.
However, they both turned evil because of it. My trainer also used
an invisible paint brush on him so he can turn invisible when ever he wants
but that doesn’t mean anything, it’s just the dark faerie that’s causing
the trouble.”
Then I
said, “So we need a light faerie to heal them?”
The kacheek
said, “Yes, it’s our only chance to save them.”
“But,”
MissLIttle asked in concern, “how do we get to the sun?”
Buzzy had
an idea. “I suggzzest we get ourzzzelvezzz a spaceship.”
“Hey, great
idea!” I said excitedly
MissLIttle
agreed. “It’s the only way to the sun.”
“We’ve
got one problem,” said the helpful owner. “How do we get a spaceship?”
No one
said anything until GotMilk said, “Maybe we can borrow one. I’ve
heard legend that the Space Faerie will grant the wish of creating a spaceship
if our intentions are noble and true.”
MagicForce
then said something. “Yeah, you’re right. The Space Faerie
is as friendly as the Light Faerie.”
“Sounds
okay to me,” I said happily.
Just
then, the Space Faerie appeared. “I heard you want to help your friends,
and I wish to assist myself.” It came up with a huge space ship.
“Now, I will summon some of the other Faeries to give you a hand in getting
to that sun. Now, all of you, get on board quickly.”
As soon
as she vanished, we managed to get help from the Fire Faerie. She
lit the ship and got our lift off going very fast!
Then I
said, “Boy, I sure hope this works!”
“Izn’t
it goinz to beez hot?” Buzzy asked curiously.
“No, it
won’t. Not as long as we go fast enough.”
GotMilk
then asked, “How long will the trip take?”
Ten Water
Faeries appeared to lift the ship way up into space. Our ship went so fast
we got to the sun in under 10 minutes.
To our
surprise, we found the sun had turned to ice, thanks to the Water Faeries
themselves.
“Wow,”
I said as we landed.
Millions
of Light Faeries were all flying everywhere making the sun still glow,
not worrying about the fact it was pretty cold on the surface.
One of
the Water Faeries came up and said, “You’ve got about one minute to grab
some Light Faeries before the sun starts heating up rapidly, so move it!”
“Right!”
I said excitedly as we started to run.
I soon
noticed the kacheek and buzzy were still grabbing faeries as I shouted,
“Hurry, guys! We’re running out of time!”
The kacheek
grabbed one at the last possible second and ran with us as we got in the
space ship.
When we
got into the ship, I realized someone was missing. “Oh, no, Buzzy!
Where is he?”
The doors
to the ship closed before I could get a chance to find him. As the
ship started to lift off, I yelled very loud as Buzzy finally got a Faerie
and was walking to the ship not hearing us yelling for him to get on board.
We had
to lift off at that moment because if we didn’t, the ship (and we) would
burn to a crisp.
The ship
managed to get off as the sun returned to its bright light. However,
Buzzy was nowhere to be found.
“Buzzy…no!”
I was crying so much I couldn’t see anything.
We were
all sad about losing Buzzy, that is until the yellow kau suddenly yelled,
“Look!”
I wiped
my eyes and saw a huge fire bug flying toward us! I swore it looked just
like that buzzy.
“Buzzy!”
I yelled as it came to the ship and burnt the door lock open so it can
come in. After the door locked again, I came up to him. “Buzzy, is that
you?”
With a
big smile the buzzy excitedly said, “Yepzz, it’z me!”
I grabbed
Buzzy and hugged him. “Oh, Buzzy, I’m so glad you’re all right!”
As soon
as we landed back on Neopia again, we came out of the ship, only to see
Blaze and Gondom standing right besides us looking greedy.
Knowing
this would be their only chance to save their owners, Buzzy threw a Light
Faerie at Blaze while the yellow kacheek threw another at Gondom.
In mere
seconds, they were back to normal!
However,
what about the neopets at this point? Would they leave me here, alone?
Buzzy came
running at Blaze and Kacheek ran to Gondom as they both hugged each other
tightly.
Buzzy said,
“Thank you for your help.”
The yellow
kacheek also thanked us for assisting in the restoration of their owners’
hearts.
Blaze was
truly happy. “Oh, Buzzy, I’m so sorry for the way I treated you.
I promise, I’ll take care of you from now on, and I’ll train you at your
own comfortable pace. Okay with you?”
“That’zzz
fine with me, Blazzze. I love you.”
We were
about to leave when Gondom said, “Wait, friend. How would you like
to…have my neopet?”
I went
into shock. “Really!?”
The kacheek
ran up to me and smiled. “Looks like I’m with you now, my friend.”
I said,
“Are you sure about this?”
“Yes, I
am. I feel I need a pet from the pound…one that can use a fresh start,
like me. Take care of that kacheek, okay?”
“I will,
my friend. Thank you so much for this chance.”
He turned
and said, “After going out of your way to help me, it’s the least I could
do for you. Good luck with him.”
In addition,
Blaze said, “I also want to thank you for making my heart pure again.
Listen, I’ll let you visit Buzzy anytime you want, and if you feel like
it someday, let’s do a battle with each other, and do the best we can.”
“You can
count on it, pal. Thank you.”
I named
the Kacheek Pikachusweetheart, and I do visit Buzzy very often. Also, I
now have three neopets that all love me as a great tamer, owner, and above
all…friend.
THE END
Friendship
is so important, especially in these recent times. We have only one
world in which we can live. Let us all live together, and all have
heart. Let us in the real world come together…in peace, love, and
friendship now and forever!
