Flying Top Row: Black Orchid, Little Miss Marvel, Princess Elementa, Insect Princess, and Stacy Spaceboarder
Standing Bottom Row: Aquagirl, Morphia, Gina Glitter, Kid Cardinal, Midnight Girl, and The Small Shadow
Welcome to the newly revamped Super Good Gals Page. Would you believe I have had all this mess sitting around and doing nothing for about four years? I had this bunch starting to come together in my head back in 1991 and forgot all about it until now! At least, I have a computer at home I can use to get things like this done! Anyway, the profiles are now complete, and they are ready to be viewed by the world, or at least anyone who's interested in this strange thing I cooked up in my warped little mind. Enjoy the ride, and stay tuned for further updates.
To get a general idea of how the profiles were set up, click here.
Take a look at how I created all these characters, and then click on each name to take a look at their profiles. (Note: The order is the chronological order in which each one was created.)
Kid Cardinal-- Made her to be like Batman, Robin, and Batgirl. Was inspired to draw her after watching Filmation's old Batman cartoons.
Aquagirl-- At the time I came up with her, I had no idea DC Comics had already done an Aquagirl (named Tula, Garth's late girlfriend). Was inspired to draw her after watching old Aquaman cartoons from Filmation.
Stacy Spaceboarder--Kinda mix between Space Ghost and The Jetsons. Kids in the future ride spaceboards, and she's an adventurer like Space Ghost.
Midnight Girl-- Kinda my Jean Grey from the X-Men. Inspired to draw her after watching the live-action Flash series.
Little Miss Marvel--DC Comics' Shazam! Was inspired to draw her after watching the old Filmation cartoons of Shazam.
The Small Shadow-- No question here. After renting the 1994 movie The Shadow a record 15 times, I decided to draw up a smaller, feminine version of the classic radio hero.
Morphia-- Kinda came from TV X-Man Morph and was named for the mythical siren from an animated episode of Godzilla.
Gina Glitter-- In a way, she's just like Jubilee from Marvel's Generation X. Named her after Gary Glitter (best known for his hit "Rock and Roll Part 2").
Insect Princess-- Distantly inspired from Marvel Comics' Wasp. Of course, my little hero does not shrink like the classic.
Black Orchid-- Inspired after reading DC Comics' Adventure Comics 428-430 (First ever appearance of the original unknown Black Orchid). I made her into a teenager and have only one identity because I figured it would be interesting.
Princess
Elementa-- Does not come from any comic book. I decided it was time
to get an alien on the team, and she was the one for me. However, she's
in a way like Captain Planet, only from another planet herself. By the
way, I'm developing a story about her, so stay tuned for the details later
on.
Well, there you have it, my own team of superheroes, mostly based on other heroes already made. If you have an opinion about this page, I would love to hear what you think. Please e-mail me at either oddballextreme@hotmail.com or oddballextreme@yahoo.com.
